Totally fun vibe on the new demo from this Melbs five-piece: obviously just bros hanging out and playing as loudly and exuberantly as possible at each other, which is nearly always a recipe for greatness, especially when the sound du jour is scrappy 90s power pop. It's played without any pretension or self-consciousness either - check the 'Sounds Like' section on their MySpace, which reads "hopefully no one but probably a bit like someone". Word. Also totally great that they're singing about sitting around in yr jammies, watching cartoons and eating cereal with the dog. This band is just so comfortable.
