Lush, cinematic scope on this new head nodder from Auckland's Forest Spirits - cut n pasting old timey strings with new crisp beats that shift back and forth in weird pendulum swings. It's certainly approaching beatmaking in a similar style to contemporary laptoppers and chillwavers such as The Books or Washed Out but it's rendered in a slicker, less hazy light - "one for yr best headphones" for sure.
