MP3: Silk Flowers - Small Fortune (Peter's House Music remix)

Peter's House Music's smooth retrograde has been a staple in my DJ sets at places like "pubs" in the early evenings in Northern England where the purportedly cheesy house compilation vibes and particulary "smooth" style of throwback may've confused things slightly ("got any Stone Roses m8?") but I don't think it lessens the super funky lite-dance positivity and vivid skyline/apartment views of stuff like this.

Peter's House Music - Mirror Has 2 Faces

Peter Schuette (of Silk Flowers & Psychobuildings fame) sets it to smooth control on this cool house jammer, cruisin thru smoke & mirror club corners decorated with icy synth flourishes and some totally cornball 80s detective-movie guitars mid-way through. Really into the super stylized club on this new JUMP EP, especially with all its visual linkage with tacky luxury and weird romanticism (a la that Golden Axe video from last week!)
