Here's the debut track from a band you've got no reason to not like straight away! Boomgates is Eddy Current Suppression Ring's Brendan Suppression, Gus from Teen Archer, Steph from Dick Diver, Rick from The Twerps (and a guy called Shaun (sorry Shaun)); obviously, four of Australia's best bands from right now. Obviously! This shit is great, too: it's got that classic ECSR gnawing tension vibe, but it's also real casual and elastic and upbeat. And, I don't know, sunny? If something can be "sunny" and "gnawingly tense" at the same time. This band is releasing its debut 7" on September 1 through R.I.P. Society (yes!) and also playing at this great thing, SYDNEY:
