THIS IS A SOCIAL SITUATION

Tame Impala - Forty One Mosquitoes Flying In Formation
[mp3 removed on request]

After today's debate, I'm more convinced than ever that unless Americans come good and elect Obama they're quickly gonna turn out exactly like the Roman Empire, only with less violin and more aerial wolf hunts.

Speaking of empires set to a-crumble, Modular: what the fuck are you thinking? People can say what they like about the relative qualities of The Presets and Cut Copy, but you guys took electroclash and transformed it from a textbook fail to a cashcow of epic proportions. I guess nothing lasts forever, and Tame Impala are the first sign that you can't ride the wave forever. WOLFMOTHER BROKE UP. Deal with it. Don't just scrounge around with your eyes closed and settle for whatever 70s-psychedelic-hard rock three-piece you touch first. Tame Impala might be handsome young dudes from indie cred central, Perth, but this EP is boring. BORING. Sorry.

Incidentally, I saw The Bedroom Philosopher a few weeks ago and he dropped this truth bomb:
Q: How many members of Wolfmother does it take to change a light bulb?
A: None, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath changed it in the 70s.
BOOM!
