Damn Arms - Destination Pt. II

TEXT REVIEW: This is like Cut Copy without the heart, the Presets without the kick and Van She without the... actually, it's probably still better than Van She. Unfortunately, it's still weak as piss and about six months too late.

Great track. Got no idea why you're blogging it, mind.

Perhaps one felt this review would give the lads a head start on recording The Cutsets upcoming EP. But if dance artists residing in Australia were supposed to release all material mid-2008 we've run into a whoopsiedoodle.

:(

Yeah, look, it's more just unconstructive criticism because I think they should just stop trying to make music.

I have to disagree, it's a good tune... it doesn't exactly fit in with your blogs remit either. So it makes sense you hate it.

good track, why so cynical? try not to get so caught up in "punchy little pieces of cheeky wit, touching observation, nonsensical beauty and a whole dose of humanity."

because then it all just becomes bullshit, doesn't it?

believe me, i'm not buying into our press. i just think that damn arms would be playing ska if they thought it was the hip thing to do. and they'd still not do it very well.

Part of the criticism of this piece of music is that it's no longer hip. One is simply sipping on dat haterade.

no, all of the criticism of this piece of music is that it sounds exactly like every other modular band but without the bits that make them good. it's not about electro no longer being hip, it's about damn arms once again jumping on the bandwagon.

...fred. The boys better learn to jump on the bandwagon when the bandwagon is truly hip to avoid further nonsensical nonsense.

Nice song, it moves me.

i completely agree with max.
sorry guys - it's boring.
...next.

Bet you a dollar the person above ain't too sure what they're agreeing with.

this is a tune whether you choose to admit it or not. its simplicity was obviously desired and balances the few elements incorporated well. can you say it doesn't make you wanna move a lil'..?
