SEVN DAZE

Great to find this beautiful pearl in my inbox, cf. the excellent Leftist Underwater Antiques, who first came to my attention after releasing Forest Swords' sublime Miarches EP a few months ago. Next up at the bat is Pure Ecstasy, a three piece from Austin whose heartbroken ballads are shrouded in clouds of desert dust - burnt orange, sienna and flecks of gold. You can almost see it hanging here, hazing out the spaces between that morose guitar lick, the Be-My-Baby drumbeat and Nate Grace's crestfallen vocal delivery that just aches and aches in the most beautiful way possible.
