Total "classic" vibe on this track from White Woods' new album: got a real Kinks-y melody that coasts lethargically over some shambolic garage psyche and sort of spirals into this rustic nirvana that's just so easy to listen to. Never feels "safe", though - there's this kinda seething discontent that runs through the track courtesy of subtly discordant guitars and organ and provides a mood of gentle dread. BTW, this album rules. Best of 2010?!
