LOCAL DAMAGE

MP3: Circle Pit - Sewercide

Terrifically spiky, glammed out new jammer from Sydney heroes Circle Pit. It's their first release since last year's Siltbreeze-released Bruise Constellation, which was laconic and sort of laid-back and more about drawl than snarl. But this track is all snarl! There are so many Sydney bands that go heavy on stomp and swagger but forget about actually sounding nasty, which is such a bummer, and that's why we're lucky to have Circle Pit. Sewercide is off a 7" co-released by Canada's Sweet Rot and Australia's RIP Society in a super-limited run of 1000 copies; snap it up, eh? Australia: you can see them on the road in January.
