LOVE IS NOT ENOUGH
Particularly stoked on this vid from Test House, a new duo comprised of Peter Schuette (Silk Flowers/Psychobuildings) and James Elliot (Bear In Heaven/School of Seven Bells). It's not totally surprising given the past dealings of both of these dudes that "Love Is Not Enough" operates firmly within a mode of re-historicised 80s dance music, beginning with a distinctively cold house beat that evolves to take in elements of sighing synth-pop and traces of jittery downtown post-punk.
The Bitemarks EP is out now on All Hands Electric.
