MP3: Avalon Emerson - Milk Toast
Built around the classic M1 organ, San Francisco producer Avalon Emerson's "Milk Toast" is a classically-pitched, minimal piece of gritty Detroit-tech realness. Filling in the spaces around its bare 4/4 clatter and head-nodding organ line are some really nice echoed atmosphere and warped, ethereal vocals. This is serious stuff and I would say Avalon Emerson is somebody to keep an eye on.
