The mystery-shrouded persona of Vancouver's Aquarian Foundation -- named after an obscure early 20th century cult based on Vancouver Island -- has been responsible for some intriguing audio/visual transmissions of late, which sit somewhere on the increasingly mangled spectrum between techno and noise. "Rhithron" is build around a pulsating but seriously degraded sounding, Acid-y synth line and cascading drum machines that give a slightly queasy feeling of repeatedly running in and out of time.
