░▒▓TANLINES: melted Cd-R

Photobucket

Check this new mix from Portland-based and Sewage Tapes mastermind Boy Mtn, for website マインドCTRL. Dripping with liquid glitchiness, and I think literally sourced in parts from a half-melted cd-r, the mix traverses warped junglist breakbeats, peaking club zones and decomposed r&b edits.

BAD BITCH

New video from (we think) Oregan based producer & recent fave of mine Boy Mtn plays on virtual luxury with its floating LCD depictions of Lamborghinis and the type of majestic nature only the rich can afford. The track only solidifies my suspicion that in the most exciting corners of the online music world 2012 is all about the breakbeat.

ADBUCTOR

Distant, spaced-out experimental dance track from Dior Nights-related and I think Oregon-based (?) producer Boy Mtn, straying more these days from the Teams-esque funk into this pretty but uneasy landscape focused stuff.

N H S - 2 0 1 3

MP3: NU HUMAN SYNDICATE - E M O T I O N

Lost most of yesterday inside the #HDGhetto 5 and then zoned out the rest of it going back through Wellington producer Kurt Thomas' (and a bunch of online handles) YouTube channel. He's got another new name for his latest stuff; NU HUMAN SYNDICATE, and its way more footwork inclined than the slowed R&B delirium of all those others.
