It doesn't sound like it was recorded into the tray next to the bath with an old piece of yellowed soap in it anymore. It comes out of the shower head, and the shower has a particularly satisfying water pressure, and that, I feel, is one of the most important things in this world. Previously on In This Room Michael Turner sounded more alone than ever, like he had decided to get high on a really grey morning while morning variety shows played on television (he was hungover) and sung in his unvacuumed lounge into a microphone in the other room, this new one, Slow Walks, sounds just like that; cleaned, clear and steady and warm, streaming through a scruffled beard into shiny silver microphone, out the back porch.

Thanks for the kind words. Buying records is nice of people to do considering it costs $$ to make them.
Best,
