TECHNICAL

It’s like 3ofmillions recorded an incredibly intricate chunk of freak-jazz onto a slab of crumbly, ageing vinyl, then smashed it all over the floor and hoovered up the mess with their mouths and then shouted the results at ProTools. What? THAT DOESN’T MAKE SENSE! Well, true. This kind of reminds me of this super weird Norwegian band called Crimetime Orchestra who mix big band jazz with wall of noise terror, but with more cuts and loops and samples. Not neat ones, though. This is about as far as you could get from Girl Talk’s pristine mixes. It’s rough, uneven, amateur stuff, but it’s so well executed it’s like this four-minute radio edit of David Lynch’s Inland Empire. Let’s call it garage mashup. 3ofmillions is Adrian Klumpes (formerly of Pivot), Abel Cross (Pure Evil Trio) and a dude I went to high school with. NITEMARISH!
