New sauce from San Fran and it's perfect measures of baroque sludge and castlevanian reverberance, ogres that hold their axes real gnarly like guitars. Thee Oh Sees new album ties their garage down pretty tight with a particular sort of jaunt but still lets it slide way out with this weird sort of sloppy (the good sort, the onramp sort). It's senselessly chuggy at times but with a knowing eye and a cartoonishly curled corner lip.
