More (!) super cool bedroom jams from the US Northeast, this time from New Hope, Pennsylvania's Dan Svizeny aka Cough Cool (who is also one third of spooked blissers Nude Beach). This dude has got the grunge pop thing totally down on tracks like "Roxette" and the garagey "Wild Horses on Long Island" where walls of guitar and gnarled vocals glue together perfectly with snaky guitar lines and weird sewer echoes. Also check out "Girl Tell Me" cos apparently he can do short and sweet lovelorn '50s pop sung from inside heart-shaped bubbles too.
