FOR YOU AND YOU AND YOU

In all honesty, I didn't get swept up in the So Far Gone hysteria til the dust settled and Drake's material was clearer to see, hear, grasp and absorb. And when it all clicked, god damn it was rewarding. So Far Gone played like one of the most cohesive albums I've heard in years as opposed to "just a mixtape". Though it still wasn't immune to me playing it death. In it's wake I've decided to take a break from the record for the time being so I can come back to Drizzy with fresh ears and a new fondness. Though giving up cold turkey is difficult so I'm glad DJ Noodles has thrown me a bone. In collaboration with Drake, he's put together some of the most seamless blends and remixes this side of a Dirty Harry mixtape. Verses from So Far Gone as well as Drizzy feature spots are mixed with beats from his contemporaries for some truly remarkable results. Ready To Fly is another testament to why jets are the new black.
