Been a while since I posted a track from New Hope, Penn's brightest/darkest hope Cough Cool, who has been quietly slaying dark apparitions in his drawn-curtain bedroom since last year's excellent Buy Some Dust cassette on Bathetic. Love how such minimal guitar steps, buried vocals and that delayed drum beat sound so full - dense clouds of crestfallen teen spirit - certainly down & out but not forever. Scooped this track up from digital singles label BEKO; head over and pick up the b-side and check out all the other choice tracks on offer.
