Really feeling this newie from Secrets, a solo project from Christchurch, NZ's Fraser Austin. Packed with synth sentiment, this track displays its heart-on-sleeve in a shy, Sarah Records kind of manner - think the more electro-pop Field Mice or They Go Boom!! hits, but offset by Austin's deflated lovelorn croons; "I don't wear a watch / cos I know that it's too late...". It's the best type of twee/pop you can get really, never too cloying and cupcakey but perfectly bittersweet.
