MP3: Straight Arrows - Bad Temper
So psyched on this ultra noisy, ultra fun new jam from Straight Arrows' debut album, which is exactly the calibre of ragged, exuberant pop punk you might've expected if you caught any of their totally-not-frequent-enough support slots (with Jay Reatard, ECSR, Deerhunter) over the last, I dunno, three fucking years or something it's taken them to make an album. But now they've made it! So good to hear the fist-pumping supermelodies just coasting over the noise; it's total lo-fi glory but with a real sweet, kinda naive pop heart. Tough but lovable, like 80s punk and 60s pop, and kinda perfect, actually.
