MP3: Golden Staph - Old Adage
(Kinda) new thrasher from West Australian punx Golden Staph; it's from a recent super limited-release cassette they put out so it's pretty fuzzy and pretty raucous but still with that upbeat, melodic, classic punk vibe they're amazing at. It's kinda crazy how far these guys are from Melbourne & Sydney and yet they're still in step with the totally great pop-punk revival that's sweeping the nation. Mind you, they've played with Royal Headache, Straight Arrows and Super Wild Horses and their debut record is out soon on RIP Society, so I guess it figures? Anyway, whatever! This is terrific!
