Here's some intensely romantic and shadowy sounds from Chi-City's Emanuel Vinson. Lifted from his upcoming ninth(!) album, this jam is awash in daze-heavy synths and propelled by Vinson's assured, poetic flow. Textures melt and swirl into some sorta cosmic mire - imagine DJ Toomp and Polow discovering doom and bands heavy on triangle symbolism while acting on their desire to sample Kate Bush; it feels cavernous to the point where you should be spooked but there's a genuine tenderness here which creates equilibrium. Drawing on devotion, dream-like aesthetics and R&B enthusiasm: this one's for the lovers.
