Here's some smooth, cruise control vibes from a Memphis dude on the come-up offering a little something different to the regular down-south trunk-rattlers I'm used to. Really digging the subtle juxtapositions in the beat as it bounces and skips with off-kilter syncopation all while the strings punch through making you feel "uplifted" or some such. Skewby however, spits on some day to day experiences and does so with quotable ease - "everyday I'm alive, I need a beat to kill". This is one of fourteen gems on his few days-old More Or Less mixtape. Don't sleep.
