I've always found it easy to grip the mid-ranging electro jams and lately there's been a choice fare of them (ie. Dunian, Veux, Baths) and another producer stepping off widely shared memories of Geogaddi and ambient Aphex is Upstate NY's Com Truise. Even if yr not down on the now ubiqituous inverted celeb names, the now re-issued designery slopes of his Cyanide Sisters is steady paced and heavy hitting, held taut w/ clean lines and achieving the cinematic yet not overwrought. Ghostly International's lining up a full length for May, check the EP up there too as well as older electrics at AM Discs.
