Gerald's been doing it for awhile now but even though his numerous mixtapes, collabs and misc releases full of assured verses, idiosyncracies and wordy song titles that'd make self-important pop-punkish songwriters envious have earned him some recognition, it all seems to equate to not much more than a casual nod. Having recently hooked up with Cardo, Taylor Gang's in-house producer, for a an upcoming collaborative EP however, has done a world of good. Walker, tapping into Cardo's dulcet mellowness, seems to be looking at the bigger picture now and in doing so has focused all his little eccentricities and personal musings into something with real shine.
