MiND BODY (produced by Boody) by LE1F

LE1F's Khalif Diouf is another NY rapper we're getting pretty excited about. "Mind Body" might best be described as electronic rap - blending anxious happy hardcore notes with sassy flow and a raw, dystopic feeling not dissimilar to that Mykki Blanco track we covered a couple of weeks ago. I'm also really enjoying the more straight-up dance-oriented tracks like "Born Underwater" over on his Soundcloud. Look out for LE1F's Dark York mixtape dropping April 15, and be sure to read about both Mykki and LE1F in this excellent Pitchfork piece on queer hip-hop in NY.
