MP3: The Solex-Mal - Ishtal--Maxin

Maryland's Brent Grant isn't going under the Spermwhales name anymore but after amassing a large range of tape sessions of his warm, bedroom resort improv, he's transferring it to the new Solex-Mal project with which he's tapping into comfort-heavy guitar and electronic wanderers ala Co La, Cankun or maybe occasional Ducktails lite regenerative feelings.

MP3: Spermwhales - Master Kush

It's raining heaps today and this pop sparkler from Maryland's Spermwhales is a nice surprise, lifting a portion of the quasi-aquatic ambient soft tones of his usual output (THERE'S HEAPS) into a jangly Real Estate-style revererator. Just real slack and woozy etc., for the home zone or woodsland drive.
