Something else from SFV Acid's upcoming full-length for UNO, which drops on May 28 and reportedly written entirely at Starbucks. "PT Sex" is a short but compelling excursion, glistening with a tech-induced, acid-inflected sheen, at the same time it points to over-caffeinated unease.

Fresh off his immersive Stretch 1 EP from UNO's GIVEITAWAY series, Arca has dropped a teaser track for the physical follow-up Stretch 2. It's full of crystalline sounds and reappropriated freshness, with each sonic element clearly identifiable for a full, almost gallery-space, surround-sound experience. I imagine it's going down a treat in Northern summer right now.

Stretch 2 is out August 6 on UNO.

MP3: Mykki Blanco & the Mutant Angels - Head Is A Stone

A bit of a follow-up from yesterday's post of the new video for Mykki Blanco's "Join My Militia (Nas Gave Me A Perm)", the Mykki Blanco & the Mutant Angels self-titled EP came out today on UNO and lead single "Head is a Stone" is a turgid, spine-tingling garage-punk song. Unlike his recent party tracks "Fuck the DJ" and "Wavvy", everything here is run through copious amounts of distortion, and driven by a lurching, disturbingly aggressive rhythm. This is a pretty serious statement of purpose for the EP and testement to Blanco's swagger that she can pull it off.
