Vivian Girls have the perfect mix of jangle and distortion, a skittering energy. They sound a bit like The Aislers Set, except fed through even worse a tape machine, and with rippeder jeans. 'Wild Eyes' is 1:54 of harmonic bliss, dreaming; 'I'll Believe In Nothing' fell into my orderly afternoon, through panes of glass.
