Jono Mi Lo's new tape (and DVD) as Worthless Waste (he also goes as Daytime Television) came out a couple of days ago on I Had An Accident and it's mostly super slow and gloomed-out smokestack worship (hauntological?) and also stifles brightness on the clearer and less static-submerged (but still very blown out) ones like thist. Not exactly sure how closely he approaches the whole w1tch h4us thing (there are ▲s) but its pretty deep in the grey industrial landscape evocations, real claustrophobic.

Stumbled onto this via Worthless Waste and his rad Cankun vid we posted last week; looks like an affliate of his is enjoying crafting some cluttered, pop-up-heavy beats, dragging pitch-shifted R&B into hypersaturated Tumblr lands run by .jpg lifers and this guy and also partially in the Chuck Persons/Seth Price groove of screwage.

CORAL SANDS

Real glad France's Cankun is "returning 2 the beach" (uh oh!) for some ultimate "smile, mon" feelgood rays, wriggling out much like Ecstatic Sunshine or more cocktail sippin' Eric Copeland with a light-focused sound captured perfectly in this new video by Worthless Waste. There is a release due soon on Not Not Fun that'll be a nicely lite addition to the Low Light Situations and Sex Worker heavy hitters on their at the moment.
