Save me a place

It's Sunday morning and it's time to enter my Fleetwood Mac phase. I skipped the whole Byb Dylan phase so I'd better get onto old Fleetwood. I'm not really too sure where to begin. Tusk, perhaps? I've had more than one friend who has told me with genuine sincerity that they are 'the best band' and also 'the only good band ever' so here goes.

The synopsis to me would be Rumours (although I think anything after that is pure tosh), but i reckon Tusk isn't to bad a starting point...

Hey Richard,

Check this article out for starters.

My 60s-obsessed friend George is all about the original Fleetwood Mac lineup but I like the 'classic lineup's tension between rhythm (Fleetwood, John McVie), melodic experimentation (Buckingham), classic pop (Christine McVie) with a touch of craziness (Nicks).

I first got into them as a kid in the Tango In The Night period when most people reckon they were past their best. I think the best albums were the self-titled and Rumours. The best-of gives you an idea of their breadth.
