GUM CHIMES

Max Tundra - Number Our Days*

Max Tunda's futurism has one foot in the 90s and one on Venice Beach and man is it glitzy, like a stroll down Amiga California Games waterside with those little headphones over yr head and yellow Walkman and sunglasses. It's all hand gliding and open air; blue seas and green hils and sneakers and with that special light production and the eruption of ideas that come from every direction on his new record 'Parallax Error Beheads You' I kind of feel like this is the best thing I've ever heard, but then again, that's what all the boys/girl say about this man wrapped in tape.
