I'm actually a little bummed that Mi Ami have ditched those ridiculous frenetic vibes (as heard on their EP from last year) in favour of more dubby pastures (did you know that milk is made of like 2% pus from cow udders?) but it's hard to be bummed when it still sounds this scruffy and jungely and bloodshot-eyed, slinging free jazz beams through dark sweaty clubs with loads of broken glass and sticky drinksss on the floor and fake ferns in the corner. They've now got this clammy sensuality about them along with the safari/voodoo mask vibage and this awesome tension between the scary/scared and the medium paced.
