Messy bong-fi guitar chants run pretty strong across this debut record but it's super duper and twangy/jangly in most parts and then slack lippppd 90s awesomeness elsewhere, oh man so San Diego? Maybe? Are there jocks there? Whatever I guess, it's big fun and slightly mentalist in its spaces, manic xylophone dings in"Anxiety Attack" and then lots of plastic spooked-out splashes/ghost train dumbness, maybe some dinosaurs w/ tarpits, yeah, Blackout Summer is about right; REALLY GOOD!
