FORMER SELVES
Pleased that Noo Jersey's Big Troubles are still quietly releasing nuggets of dust pop, coiled in cassette reels containing the sound of autumn dusk c. '86. There's certainly a peppiness behind the guitars and drums but those slacked-out sliding harmonies tell another story - going out and doing stuff can be cool but being a couch slob and ordering a pizza while streaming Seinfeld is OK too right?
