Nestled somewhere in Italy but originally from Krakow, Poland, Nac/Hut Report specialise in a sound which is seemingly part futuristic giallo movie soundtrack and part surreal short film (the B&W kind with sliced eyeballs). Heavy on wind tunnel-guitar sounds and sewer atmospherics, there's also elements of fucked up pop and musique concrète. On 9th Overflowing..., they've deconstructed and put back together the straightforward and the unconvential elements of these things resulting in some super-pretty, spacey compositions though coupled with a mood of anxious restraint. Kinda like dining with Hannibal Lector in yr dreams and not knowing whether you should run yet. Sanitarium chic meets the phantasmagorical.
