(via Microphone Memory Emotion): It's not just that we're biased towards this Baltimore experimenter or anything (he's playing our RQ + MME unofficial CMJ show but we already mentioned that) cos honestly when we last saw him in Newcastle upon Tyne it was almost ridiculously face melting. Sure I was also pretty jazzed but it was real surprising how rich and full his wonky, rhythmic pieces came off, skirting the same peripheries of beat-driven music that Black Dice might've, locking into super-colourful grooves along the way. This ones a live jam from Katowice (!).
