I guess this shit's pretty Ariel Pink (oops redundant!) but incidentally extremely good in all its plasticity, actually sounding almost glossy and clear in places leaving just those TV dinner/game show feelins to come through. Tony B is part of the Mindless Vinyls collective of positive jammers as introduced to me last week by Arc Light with who he also collaborates on their Rage City project. Makes perfect sense that Zak Mering from Raw Thrills/Greatest Hits is doing vocals on a track from an upcoming Rage City album, hopefully we'll hear that soon but for now these colour drip ballads are doing just fine; download the whole thing for free at his Bandcamp!
