New York's chameleonic pop star Zak Mering incorporates a lot of white boy swag on those
Greatest Hits and
Raw Thrills hits, but it's usually deep-set in retrograde (check those powder blue suits and all-white leisure wear). His cover of Soulja Boy's "Pretty Boy Swag" is in a pretty dark realm in this TV-recorded-handicam video, a reasonably sinister but "real dope" and low-budget take on mainstream rap (cf. the "Swag O.D." video), what with the Virgin Mobile Live setting. Keep track of his myriad online releases at
Gunk TV.
