This new LYFSTYL comp Blissful Allusion's selection of electronic artists is a pretty tight document on what for me best constitutes chillwave or glo-fi ie. "not a bad thing" quietly glammy haze and synthetic textures that are the sonic equivalent of the artwork. Really digging these three jams from the sampler; super pretty results of various quests for new modes of "bliss'. MP3: With Moths - Bleak Regression

Dark, wispy guitar droner here from this solo Christchurch, NZ artist. The first half is engulfed with reverberant echoes and chilling, husk-like vocals before a big Wind's Poem-style riff pierces through all the smoke. Each fleeting track off this debut EP drifts subtly through minimal dronescapes, punctuated with loner guitar wandering and ghostly reincarnations of black metal; real dark and isolated.
