Just got the long-awaited album of weird pop lands and alien croons from Best Hits aka Matt Weiner (aka Twins) and Elise Tippins, and it's chock full of tracks that bloom into these artificial trance worlds, real dreamy and squelchy. This newie morphs from High Places-style polyrhythmic bops into inverse club ambience; strange new territories, but executed with a pop mindset and aided by real excellent dense production, one for yr best headphones for sure.
