MP3: Carousel - II

For all the TV and Tumblr-centric imagery the mysterious Carousel comes with (a lone bandcamp kind of website w/ photos of bmxs in the 80s, mountains, babes, summer, wooden huts) these two texture-focused mp3s feel much more like an appliance free room or at least one with the stereo and TV and computer switched off, mining half-organic feelings that Sean McCann might side with. Maybe it's because I'm listening to it on a plane (United Airways FTW; Two and A Half Men AND Grown Ups!) with the sun coming through the windows and shit but this stuff is pretty serene and ultra evocative; even if there's at times a slightly Books-y quality to their cosy vibe, this something for the afternoon for sure.
